1. Apologies for absence
Apologies had been received from Cllrs Allen, Cllr House, Cllr Lippold,
Cllr Milne, Cllr Monepenny
2. Declarations of interest
Cllr Millar declared an interest in item 3.2.
3. Planning applications received from Eastleigh Borough Council
3.1 35 Hill Place, Bursledon – Single storey front extension.
Case Officer: Juile Wellstead.
Case Ref: F/09/65810.
Cllr Craig proposed DO NOT OBJECT, Cllr Misselbrook seconded and Members
voted unanimously in favour.
3.2 Rye Acre, Salterns Lane, Bursledon – Construction of rear
conservatory following demolition of existing. Case Officer:
Gemma Christain. Case Ref: C/09/65909.
Cllr Craig proposed DO NOT OBJECT, Cllr Clarke seconded. 6 Members
voted in favour, with Cllr Millar abstaining in conjunction with his
declaration of interest.
3.3 Victoria Garage, Lowford Hill, Bursledon – Construction of
motor cycle sales service and MOT centre building following demolition
of existing buildings. Case Officer: Dawn Errington.
Case ref: F/09/65813.
The applicant spoke to advise Members that the intention of this
application was to get all of their services based under one roof.
Cllrs discussed their concerns relating to waste drainage.
Cllr Misselbrook proposed DO NOT OBJECT, subject to the Environment
Agency being involved in the process with regard to waste drainage
regulations. Cllr Craig seconded and Members voted unanimously in
favour.
4. PLANNING DECISIONS NOTIFIED BY EASTLEIGH BOROUGH COUNCIL
4.1 Bourne Gap, Salterns Lane, Bursledon – Creation of basement
under previously approved rear extension and terrace. Case
Officer: Rachel Illsley. Case Ref: C/09/65671. PERMIT
4.2 1 Ashley Court, Providence Hill, Bursledon – Crown Reduction
and reshape of 1no. Oak by 45%. Case Officer: Andrew Giles.
Case Ref: T/09/65590. CONSENT TO TREE WORKS
4.3 Kew House, Kew Lane, Bursledon – Notification of intent: Crown
reduction of 1no. Eucalyptus by 30% & felling of Cypress tree.
Case Officer: Andrew Giles. Case ref: N/09/65684.
