with leadership of H.Y.P.E. when it was re-formed with the partnership

6.2 Bursledon Windmill Diane Andrewes had sent a letter to Councillor
Thornber about funding being withdrawn from the Windmill and he had
replied that the matter was being investigated. John Prinn
reported that the two of the staff who worked at the Windmill had been
told that their posts were being made redundant and the hours to be
worked by the miller were being reduced to five per week. Some new
volunteers had started training last weekend. Ron Nichols said he
recalled that a fire officer time had stated that it was unsafe for
anyone to go above the first floor. Diane Andrewes will write to
the Parish Council with a copy to Keith House expressing concern about
the future of the Windmill particularly in regards to school visits.

Chesshire to thank him for his work on the website and he had replied.
7. WORKING PARTY REPORT ON QUESTIONNAIRE
The Working Party had met on a couple of occasions and a copy of the
draft questions on traffic and accessibility had been circulated.
Members were asked to pilot this brief questionnaire at the meeting and
the results were then discussed and amendments made to the questions.
Some concern was expressed at the lack of signs to indicate Bursledon at
the entry on main roads. Diane Andrewes will write to the Parish
Council to request that the matter of signage to Bursledon should be
considered.
