Bursledon Community Centre, Lowford. Redevelopment Proposals
Local residents have the chance to ‘have their say’ on proposed new
community facilities for the Bursledon Community Centre site at Lowford,
Bursledon at a series of public exhibitions.
This exciting scheme is considering the opportunity to improve health
and community facilities by providing an improved community centre, a
new library, Parish Office and a doctors' surgery, together with
increased car parking spaces.
Eastleigh Borough Council, in partnership with Doctors from Bursledon
Surgery, NHS Hampshire, Hampshire County Council, Bursledon Parish
Council and Bursledon and District Community Association, are looking at
ways to improve existing facilities and services for local residents and
patients at the community centre site.
Council Leader Keith House says, “This is a great opportunity for local
people to let us have their thoughts and views on this community scheme.
I would encourage all local residents to come along and tell us what
they think of the plans.”
